On 26October 2015, Mikhail Gorbachev met JohnF.Tefft, the United States Ambassador to the Russian Federation. The meeting was initiated by the Ambassador. During an hour-and-a-half conversation, they discussed the world situation and relations between Russia and the United States. Mikhail Gorbachev stressed the need for dialogue on all issues on today's agenda to rebuild trust and cooperation between the two countries.
