A Press Release of the Gorbachev Foundation Press Office Mikhail Gorbachev followed the advice of eye doctors and canceled his scheduled trip to Paris for a summit of Nobel Peace Prize laureates. He is currently at Moscow’s Central Clinical Hospital to undergo treatment. He is expected to be discharged from the hospital in a few days.
