On June 14 this year, the Gorbachev Foundation and the Woodrow Wilson International Center (The Kennan Institute) conducted the first seminar within the Cultural Diversity Challenges in a Global World project.
The seminar participants analyzed ways for developing new models of cross-cultural interaction in the contemporary world based on the experience gained by individual countries. They considered the existing theoretic approaches to the multi-culturalism policy, its strengths and weaknesses, practical experience in organizing cross-cultural dialogues, and new prospective ideas in this field.
