The XXI century will be a сentury either of total all-embracing crisis or of moral and spiritual healing that will reinvigorate humankind. It is my conviction that all of us - all reasonable political leaders, all spiritual and ideological movements, all  faiths - must help in this transition to a triumph of humanism and justice, in making the XXI century a century of a new human renaissance.

Round Table “Rehabilitation of Child Abuse Victims: Situation, Experience, Problems”

On 15 April this year,  the Gorbachev Foundation hosted a round table entitled Rehabilitation of Child Abuse Victims: Situation, Experience, Problems. The conference was organized within the Safe Childhood partnership project carried out by the National Foundation for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and the Raisa Maximovna Club (the Gorbachev Foundation).

The round table discussion was moderated by Alexander Spivak (the National Foundation for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) and Elena Zabadykina (Stellit - Regional Public Organization for Social Projects in the Public Welfare Domain, Saint Petersburg).
