It is an honour to live in the same era as you doDear mister Gorbatchov,
Since a few years we have grandchildren. Maybe once they start asking questions about history in the period after the second world war. Then I would like to talk about great world leaders that have my deepest respect and admiration. I will mention Mahatma Ghandi, Nelson Mandela, Barack Obama and Michael Gorbatchov. Some of the work of these great people has been undone by politicians that were only interested in power and wealth for theirselves, but their memory will live on.
Thank you what you have done for the world. It is an honour to live in the same era as you do.

The XXI century will be a сentury either of total all-embracing crisis or of moral and spiritual healing that will reinvigorate humankind. It is my conviction that all of us - all reasonable political leaders, all spiritual and ideological movements, all faiths - must help in this transition to a triumph of humanism and justice, in making the XXI century a century of a new human renaissance.
